It is now official, my picture book project is out of the procrastination closet and starting to take form.
This week I finished illustration number one, a fairy, because let's face it, we need as many good fairies as we can get in this scary world. You can see her on these photos, slowly appearing in the sky above a garden landscape since she is actually a Garden Fairy (la Fee des Jardins in French), the kind who is instrumental in helping vegetables grow plump and flowers bloom.
One illustration down, 19 more to go, and I am psyched!
